Cooked the way it should be
Chart Thai is a family restaurant in Pinner. Our chefs are Thai, our recipes are the ones they grew up with, and every dish is cooked to order when you ask for it — not before.
That is the whole idea. A green curry that has been sitting in a pot all evening is a different dish to one built when you order it. The pastes, the herbs and the heat are what make Thai food taste like Thai food, and none of them survive being kept warm.
The room is small and we like it that way. You will usually be looked after by the same people who took your booking.
The people behind it
A small team, most of whom have been here for years. They know the menu inside out, which is worth more than it sounds when you are trying to work out how hot a jungle curry really is.
Ask them. Genuinely — tell them how you like your food and they will steer you. Milder, hotter, no fish sauce, no nuts, vegetarian throughout: all of it is normal here.
